What to do with `core' [was: Re: LYNX-DEV RP colors ...]

I'm sorry I'm always causing problems.  Anyway, I'll keep backing up until
I can get a successful build.

A general question for future reference: is there some software for
analyzing core files whose output would be useful to the developers?
Is it of any use to offer to gzip a core file and put it on an http
server for downloading?  Looking at the first few lines of the file
_seems_ interesting, but it could just as well be German to me :).
