LYNX-DEV lynx / pine incompatibility |

Here's my lynx info:
pc19% lynx -version
Lynx Version 2.5
(c)GNU General Public License
<URL:http://www.nyu.edu/pages/wsn/subir/lynx.html>
pc19% uname
Linux
When I get text/html attachments in pine messages, I use
netscape -remote commands to view them with this .mailcap line:
text/html;netscape -remote 'OpenFile(%s)'
Unfortunately, when I start lynx I can't view any html files:
pc19% lynx http://www.yahoo.com
lynx: Start file could not be found or is not text/html or text/plain
Exiting...
Even when I set up my .mailcap to read html in lynx it fails:
text/html;xterm -e lynx %s (or)
text/html;lynx %s
This time it goes into an infinite loop until I hit control-C.
Is there any way to use lynx AND have an entry for text/html in my
.mailcap? Thanks.
