Doug,

I don't think there is an immediate fix ... it may be a bug in
Lynx or it may be that they are not doing something that really
conforms to standards.  I tried the register form wtih Netscape 
3.0 and it worked well, but experienced the same problem you
did with Lynx (we are running 2.7 on the Unix systems).

If you want, you could file a problem report with the Lynx
developers.  Go into lynx and specify 'h', then select the
'lynx information' link and look around and you will find
where you can do the problem report.  If you do this, be
really explicit in describing the problem and the URL involved
so that they can try to reproduce the problem for themselves.
