LYNX-DEV HTTP'd URL's

I am wondering why Lynx give me this error message about not being able to 
support HTTP'd URL's, ie. http://www.flifo.com, 
being about to access HTTP'd URL's.
ie. http://www.flifo.com followed by cybertravel agent, profiles, and create.
at this point it will not continue ( it is not the server )
it specifically says the client does not support HTTP'd URLS'
what does this mean??
