It's time for RFC 1738 to progress to Draft Standard. Along the way,
*someone* needs to write a Draft Standard quality documentation for the
"news" URL scheme that corresponds to what is currently widely deployed.
What is currently widely deployed is
news:[//host/]newsgroup
rather than 'nttp:'. So I suggest we just try to write up what people
are using rather than continuing to push on "nntp:".
