Apparently you have two (or more) binaries of lynx on your system.
Depending on what is in the $PATH variable when "lynx" is called,
the system finds a different one in various situations.

Just remove or rename the one (probably an old version) which gives you
trouble.  Or set your PATH appropriately.  Or alway call lynx with the
correct path.

Try "lynx -version" to find out what version you are running, "lynx
-trace" to get trace output.
