LYNX-DEV Viewing Ordered Links

Perhaps the following lynx-view of my bookmark file will reveal what my
screen problem is. The problem seems to be with "ordered links", since
standard paragraphs look just fine. Also, the asterisks appear for some
unknown reason (and again, this problem is with lynx only)...

Lynx-Viewed Bookmark File:

1. [1]*Website 1
 *2. [2]*Website 2
   *3. [3]*Website 3
     *4. [4]*Website 4
       *5. [5]*Website 5
         *6. [6]*Website 6
           *7. [7]*Website 7
             *8. [8]*Website 8
               *9. [9]*Website 9
                 *10. [10]*Website 10

Is this a lynx.cfg issue, or an stty issue, or something else? I have
yet to find lynx.cfg. Stty size is set to 24 x 80, but I am unsure of
how it is handling tabs (or if tabs are even important, since there are
none in the bookmark file.) Would a LF or CR-LF problem indeed cause this?
