+ Does anyone know of any scripts available that will scan C code flagging
+ possible compliance problems?

Doesn't exist, I'm afraid.

"Year 2000" compliance is "does it handle things right when the dates in, or
after the year 2000 are involved?"

Is there anyplace in the lcode that does 'date arithmetic', or compares
dates ??

I can think of only -one- place where _any_ web browser *might* have a
possible problem along this line -- _expiration_ of 'cookies'.

If lynx doesn't do any date arithemtic, then it *is*, automatically,
"Year 2000 Compliant".
