getting set up with Lynx

First, have you checked to see if it is there yet?  Try

  Un*x> which lynx

and see if it is already there.

Second, work through the system support staff at Delta.edu.  Lynx
is a capability that they may wish to offer all users.  They may
take the opportunity to get it set up.

Third, you may find that there is a pre-compiled binary for your
host type (hardware and operating system) -- check at Lynx links.

Finally, if you have some familiarity with compiling C programs,
you may wish to get the source distribution and compile it for
yourself, many do.  Find the breakout at the distribution site
and read over the INSTALLATION file first, before you download
and unpack all that stuff under your account.
