I know that with exception of the past 2 weeks, I typically got crashes
trying to configure lynx like this.


  $PWD/configure  --prefix=/projects/sprs_lwv/sol2 \
        --with-cfg-file=/projects/sprs_lwv/lib/lynx/lynx.cfg \
        --enable-color-style --with-screen=ncurses \
        --enable-char-trans  --with-dired --with-zlib


Since the problems had seemed to go away recently I had almost
forgotten about the problem.
