LYNX-DEV lynx trouble

I cannot connect to lynx from my computer. I type lynxd{M#y{k{kOk{{
I get an error message that says "trace stack dump" and a bunch of zeros and 
other numbers. No matter what I do this happens. I don't know if it's my 
computer or somethng else. Please help?
