* revised tests for wait/waitpid/union-wait. - TD
* correct/update handling of default prefix in CF_WITH_PATH macro, used for
  parsing --with-cfg-file and --with-lss-file options.  - TD

* add configure --with-lss-file option.
* minor cleanup of gcc warnings, ifdefs. - TD
