If one cannot upgrade Lynx because he/she can't run the C compiler, but can run
arbitrary binaries, there might be another way: find out exactly what flavor of
UNIX is used on that system, find a friend who has compiler access on a similar
system, ask him to compile Lynx, and then move the binary by FTP or whatever.
