LYNX-DEV Lynx Settings

Hi,

I am trying to connect to external pages (outside fire wall) using LYNX
but the getting the following message:

Alert:! Unable to connect to remote host


I think that some proxy to be set somewhere. Can you pl. guide me which
environment variables to set, in which configuration file, etc.
