Well, sure didn't work for me. Probably something
stupid I am doing. Any idea what it might be?

(The unzip on that file doesn't work even here
on netcom.com, after downloading via lynx, even
before kermitting it down to MY (also sun) machine.)

QUESTION: when using raw ftp, you must choose BINARY or
ASCII mode. Now, how does LYNX make that choice?
By the extension on the file name? Any way for
me to OVERRIDE its choice?

Maybe there is something about either larry's
.lynxrc or his config file, that is different
from the one I use here on netcom (very new version,
as shown in "="-printout in original email).

Any ideas helpful. Til this, I nave NEVER had
such a problem.

(Oh, that version of lynx did die on me once
yesterday, when backing up down the web-page
stack -- never did that before either. But
these downloading problems (vs raw ftp) were
all in different runs.)

Am today using
Lynx Version 2.7.1ac-0.89

Assuming it was the same one that was up
yesterday -- original mail will show if true.

Thanks.
