LYNX-DEV Persistent cookie jar

It would be really, really nice to optionally have a persistent cookie
jar with lynx. More and more developer resources (Java Developer
Connection for example) and free e-mail services (Yahoo! Mail) rely on
cookies for authentification. It is a pain to have to start Netscape for
these, or have to re-enter you login information.

I understand the political position of Lynx developers against
persistent cookies, so here's a middle-ground solution that could
agreeable to all: make it possible to put a cookie jar file on the
command line.

lynx -jar ~/.netscape/cookies

That way the unsuspecting user would never send cookies without *really*
knowing it.

What do you think?
