Most commercial software based companies prioritize and batch problem
reports.  Unless they find a problem they consider is losing them enough
business to fix, they won't implement any of the batch, and if they 
think the priority is too low it may not get into a batch of fixes.

They don't judge things by whether they are technically correct, only
by whether they achieve the appropriate business effect, and, unfortunately,
a few discontented Lynx users (latest MSIE and Netscape users are more likely
to be big spenders) probably has negligible effect on the business.
