So it sounds as though no, you will not have Novell connectivity
among all your stations. Some will be windows workstations with
only TCP/IP connectivity with the server which has the application
in question.
Who should be able to change the files? Will remote users need
to run the application on the server, or only download the results?
If you use a telnet application on the Windows boxes you can
let users everywhere change the information in the application.
To be able to let remote users change the data with Lynx, you have
to write a new user interface to that application using CGI and
HTML forms. That may be unnecessary.
What are your requirements? What do the remote users need to
do? "Access the files" is not specific enough to be able to tell
you what to do with Lynx.
