Really? Well, all versions I can find (2.4-FM being oldest) do have
printing capabilities (the actual commands used can be set in lynx.cfg)
and zillion other improvements over that ancient 2.3 version you
mentioned. I strongly suggest you to update atleast to Lynx 2.7.1 or
perhaps to the latest development version¹ which should soon turn into
version 2.8.
