LYNX-DEV Lynx v2.7.2 release

        I've been thinking about the situation, in particular that we don't
know, as Henry put it "when, if ever" Klaus will return to finish debugging
the devel code "merges" with lynx271f, and that the last time he disappeared
he did not return for several months.  This is a serious problem for Lynx
users at sites which require a "release" to upgrade, and thus are deprived
of access to the CERT advisory related security fixes, and numerous
important bug fixes and enhancements since the v2.7.1 release.  Those "merges"
in effect cast lynx271f as a subset of the devel code (even though substantial
debugging of the devel code is needed), homologous to the situation with I
released v2.7.1 on April 4, 1997.  Accordingly, I have packaged the lynx271f
code set through today (December 31, 1997) as a v2.7.2 release, accessible
via:

When Klaus returns and finishes debugging the merged devel code set, that
can be released as v2.8.
