Heck, if you want to go that far, why not ALSO an 
INTERACTIVE awk-like "printtable $1, $3, $8" kind of thing,
to get the columns you REALLY want.

That is, if the "cursor" is inside a "table", it reformats
the thing accordingly right then.

(If in a nested table, then just that one, I guess.)
