The first beta version of S-Lang 1.0 has been released. It seems to
work OK with Mutt except for one problem: the configuration script
fails.

The reason is that it tests for a function ("init_SLang") which
have been renamed (to "SLang_init_slang"). The attached patch will
instead test for another function which name hasn't changed.
