ok (I'm reasonably sure that lynx works properly with either flavor of
curses -- ncurses has some extra features which you may/may not want,
though of course I use them -- diskspace is only a consideration on my
ISP account).
(The extra features are implemented since ncurses 4.0 -- 1.9.9e will build
and "run", but I don't recommend it).
