I looked at your config.log; the odd thing I see is that there's no
sign of having run the individual tests - it's likely that you ran
configure without removing config.cache (so that could be the problem).

I also saw (unrelated) a minor ifdef'ing problem (am not #define'ing
HAVE_TERMIO_H in lynx_cfg.h), but will leave that for the next pass,
since that might break something that's working now.
