I almost did that, but what if it *is* installed on a network. Do you
want all the junk going there? I would assume the administrator would
not, and all (s)he has to do is set a TMP variable to make it go where
ever they want it.
It is a no win situation. Maybe it would be better for lynx to fail
completely with a message telling people to set up their home and temp
info.
