Kristin,

If I understand your task correctly, there is no need to
intercept the I/O on the human side of Lynx.  You are going to
have an HTTP server set up to process forms that are submitted
from people who have other browsers.  Lynx and the server can
communicate by HTTP even though they are both running on the same
NT host.  With only modest care on your part, the forms will work
on Lynx and on the other browsers that are remote.  The same way.

Now all you have to do is ensure that the people dialing in to
the server with a VT-100 or emulation thereof can be served
and get access to lynx.  Lynx does not handle the multiple 
sessions and modems.  That you have to learn how to do in NT.
But once you do that Lynx will process the forms just fine.

Another tack is to ask if the remote users really have scroll-mode
terminals or if they are using modem programs on older PCs.  
It is possible that you can support Lynx on their computers, too
and let them dial in and PPP over the modem. (for extra credit)
