  That seems a good solution and if the table really is a table it could
read anyway. One additional feature voud be to swap rows and colums
dependin on it if the  relevant items are in same row or column even it
increases the complexity of parsing the table. Some indication of cell
type, header or data cell, would also help to read it. 

  This will also help to read layout-only tables in braille or speech when
non-relevant  items are not adjacent in the same line.
