I hadn't seen a way to change this in the lynx.cfg, and am not satisfied
with the compile-time default (there's something that doesn't get
initialized properly in the ^V toggle).  That's what I've been looking
at the past few days (except for being out of town).  Unless I get distracted,
that'll be the next fix I make....
