Some dumb questions. Is the mv program in your path as well as
cp? Does the c:\temp directory actually exist?
Goaded by your experience I have done some playing with my Win95
installation and found several things I had done wrong. But I
haven't reproduced your symptom.
Along the way I turned up this issue:
Somewhere I think I saw somebody suggest a DOS command which
_added_ items to the path by first calling up the path by a
sybolic reference and then ;adding more entries. What reading I
have done casts some doubt that this will work in Win95 command
language. At least the example on p.211 of _Microsoft
Windows<circle-R>95 Resource Kit_ tells you to rewrite the path
from scratch including windows and windows/command.
When I rewrote the path entirely in my lynx.bat, I was _both_
able to save downloaded items (can see cp and/or mv) _and_ able
to use telnet: URLs (can see c:\windows\telnet). That was the
first thing I did which combined these capabilities.
