lynx-dev win32 compile

I have been trying for several days to compile a win32 version of lynx.
Initially, when I started this process, I was using bc++ 4.5.  when I
started having problems, I assumed it was the compiler.  

Now I have Borland C++ Builder 3, and still no luck compiling lynx.

I have followed the instructions in the INSTALLATION file, but still no
joy.  I am able to compile the pdcurses lib, and the .h files in the
src\chrtrans directory, but when it comes time to compile the lynx
source, no luck.

Any thoughts?
