lynx-dev inquiries from blind users (1)

Shirley Roberts, Larry Hart and Eric all recently contacted lynx-dev
with requests for help or information for blind users;
at least a couple of replies have been posted to lynx-dev.
as a non-blind member of lynx-dev who tries to answer the simple questions,
some of which regularly come from the blind community,
i have put together a page of addresses and Internet sites,
which i plan to send to blind beginners who write to lynx-dev in future.
it follows below and lynx-devers might like to offer comments,
especially of course those named.

some sources of information around the Internet & Lynx for the blind are:

Lloyd Rasmussen, whose address is address@hidden ,
and whose site is www.loc.gov/nls/ ,
which is the US National Library Service for the Blind & Disabled;

Gregory Rosmaita, whose address is address@hidden ,
and whose site is  www.hicom.net/~oedipus/ ;

Al Gilman, whose address is  address@hidden ;

Laura Eaves, whose address is address@hidden .

some of these people are volunteers,
who may be too busy to answer your inquiries quickly or at all;
feel free to ask questions from lynx-dev whenever you wish.

there is a speech-friendly page in the Lynx on-line help:
enter h , which brings a page of links, of which you want the 6th:
enter  / , then  `speech'  without quotes to find it easily;
its URL is  leb.net/blinux/blynx/ .
