you can get the latest 2-8 from  www.slcc.edu/lynx/release/ ;
binaries are available from  www.clr.com/~subir/lynx/bin/ .
it's not too difficult to compile your own Lynx,
following the directions in the INSTALLATION file;
if you have any problems, this is the place to ask.
there is no charge for Lynx: licensing details are in the package.
