lynx-dev AIX & lynx 2.8r3

I have tried to compile lynx 2.8r3 on AIX4.2.1 using gcc2.7.2
gcc stops in LYCurses.c line 478 because
no_color_video expands to 
static int cur_nums -> _no_color_video
no_color_video is defined in term.h.

if this is a know problem what can i do about it ?
