Here goes my fuzzy memory:
Somewhere we declared a truce on verbatim downloads such that if one
did a d)ownload command not a hair was touched and if one clicked
on a link there was some [helpful to some] meddling.
Is that just for BASEifying HTML pages? or does that apply to
automagically unzipping compressed thingies?
Second point [Larry's]:
Others over ages too long to recount have yearned for this, too.
My statement of what you want is somehow to be able to follow a
control degree of freedom across all the stages in the life cycle
of the final decision. This has been extended to now include
Configure.
I think I may still have a PostScript of the document someone
else started in this regard (mostly looking at compile time
manipulation of these decisions, but then I want the whole
enchillada).
