lynx-dev Keyboard entry problems with dev.16 |

Hi,
Lynx 2.8.1 dev.16 is AWESOME! I love the
showing-the-page-while-downloading feature! Problem is, I've not been able to
type in a URL -- when I try to type in a URL, as I type the URL in, I see my
characters for a split second before they are erased--with the cursor still at
the beginning of the line. When I finally hit enter, it says "Cancelled!!" as
if I never typed anything.
Plus, when moving over other links, it displays the URL of the link (in
Advanced mode) for a split second before it overwrites it with
"Commands: Use arrow keys to move, (blah blah blah)"
Furthermore, it CONTINUALLY refreshes the screen with that same message--this
is when it's done d/l'ing. I can tell it keeps refreshing because when I use
my GPM mouse, the mouse cursor continually disappears right when I move the
mouse (the mouse cursor always disappears when text is displayed to the
console)... plus the time in "ps" is up the wall--it hogs up a good bit of CPU
time, jacking the load average up quite a bit.
Just a good bug report for the awesome Lynx developers out there.
