assuming you're using Lynx, you can find the version by entering = ,
which gives the current page & link & also the version number at the top.

if the version is earlier than 2-8 you should definitely upgrade,
as 2-8 contains many new features & can handle more kinds of bad HTML.
you can get 2-8 from www.slcc.edu/lynx/release/ ;
there's lots of information about Lynx via lynx.browser.org/ .
