The subscriber list here significantly underestimates actual use, I'd
guess. A number of automated public library systems use Lynx in one form
or another, due to our continued reliance on text-only terminals as the
primary form of library system access. I doubt that many of the library
automation folk implementing Lynx access are subscribed to this list.
Probably, a lot of them don't even download source (it being conveniently
ported and pre-packaged on *BSD CDs), so you can't count that either.

Typically, 2-15 of our 400+ access terminals are using Lynx at any given
time. Year-to-date there've been 20,000+ Lynx logins here. I know of
several other large library systems using Lynx but couldn't guess at
their use counts.
