Hi,

what's the ppp utility you're using? I spent a lot of time on a Mac Classic
(which technically should be very similar to the SE - not SE/30, which is a
totally different machine) but the only way to run ppp was MacSLIP with PPP
transporter option enabled . . .

MacLynx 2.7.1b (680x0) runs on that machine (but I had to configure the
window size before on another machine and to save the respective prefs file
for the Classic because obviously the default window size exceeds the 9"
screen. 

(BTW, personally I'm still unable to run MacLynx 2.7.1b (680x0) on a Quadra
630 (?). It starts, but then it does not get any url. May be someone here
would be able to point me to an example of a working config file?)

As for mail only an early version of Eudora, 2 or before, should do it as
well as a nice POP3-SMTP client shipped with ProTERM.
