a lot of people have contributed to Lynx over several years
(i'm just the guy who tries to see simple queries/comments get answered).
you can find out all about Lynx via  lynx.browser.org/ ;
i've just created Lynx Help for Beginners:
 www.chass.utoronto.ca/~purslow/lhfb.html ;
lynx-dev is where developers & users all over the World discuss things:
there's an Archive at  www.flora.org/lynx-dev/ .

Lynx is freeware, released under a GNU licence:
all development is by volunteers & all use is free of charge.
