First I must say Lynx is an excellent browser! 

I'm using Lynx v2.8.4 (on a Linux 2.0.33 RedHat 5.0 system) to most of
the web browsing I do. But I have had to use Netscape *ugg* to view
.jpg files.

When I try to look at http://www.pvv.org/~randhol/bilder/test.jpg the
lynx browser starts to download the image, but nothing happens
afterwards when it looks like it is finished downloading. If I try the
same with a GIF image it works fine. trying to access the above link
with -mime_header produced :
