lynx-dev Lynx 2.8.1-dev-19 problems

Hi,
    I have recently compiled Lynx 2.8.1-dev-19 on my 486.
First, I like the GPM mouse support (that I finally got to work by adding
-lgpm to the list of libraries in the makefile after configure'ing)
Second, color is screwed up on the status line--normally it is yellow on blue.
Example:
Right now my status line says
http://www.linux.org.uk/
(because I use ADVANCED mode and I have a link to www.linux.org.uk selected)
Then, I move to the next line and my status line says
http://mindmeld.dyn.ml.org/
For some reason, the text is brown now instead of yellow
Another example:
The link I am hovering over is
http://web-networks.com/~chatworld/siliconvalley.html
That is all yellow
Now I move to the next link:
file://localhost/root/lynx/gameclient.html
The whole file://localhost part is brown except ".html", which is yellow
It seems that when moving link to link, whatever part of the URL on the status
line changes appears in brown instead of yellow
Hitting CTRL-L clears that up and makes the status line yellow on blue again
Another example:
file://localhost/root/lynx/gameclient.html
Then I move to:
file://localhost/root/lynx/stageclient.html
The "stag" part is now brown, while the rest is yellow.
