lynx-dev okay, next hurdle in building dev21

I rebuild ncurses after finding the solution to my previous problem with
split library (I don't recall adding that flag, but obviously I did.
It's been a long summer...)

Anyways, my previous version of lynx differs from dev21 in that links
under dev21 show up as inverse.  I can run either versions of lynx to see
the differing behavior, so it's not a matter of my termcap entry.  

It must be a configuration parameter of some type - however, I am uncertain
what parameter it would be.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
