Notice however that when Netscape released source code, it did NOT do https!
I think they see the same possible problems as the lynx dev folk have
been saying for years - binary distributions, with enough lawyers and
paper work, is able to get thru the government problems here in the states
to create a product that can be distributed.  Source is a different problem.

Note also that despite all the clamor and venom about the US government on
this issue, there are similar or worse issues elsewhere.  I've seen
postings from users in France, Iran (or was it Iraq), at least, and perhaps
more, where encryption of any sort is illegal.  The US hasn't reached that
point yet - give the government time though...
