Maybe you could say some more -- that could be included
in the doc sometime.

I looked in .lynxrc, saw only (re mime) something called
  preferred language
and
 preferred charset (I think it was).

Please, exactly what do I do?

I don't know from mime (as it would be said
   where I live).
