I saw the same on my system if trying -enable_scrollback switch in partial mode.
Yes, in partial mode the screen may be updated several times (one, two or more
depending on partial_thres parameter) but curses should output only
the difference, right?
>From the other hand, -enable_scrollback solve my problem with loading
localhost documents from startup (see my letter under the subject
"refresh_screen & first document").
