none of the lynx-dev volunteers had any thoughts on this.
if you're still having trouble,
first get the latest Lynx 2-8-1 from  www.slcc.edu/lynx/release/ ;
also, let us know where you got the SSL patches from
& some examples of HTTPS pages where Lynx terminates.
