lynx-dev Lynx 2.8.1 colors help!

Hello,
        I have just compiled lynx 2.8.1 with the SSL patches. I want to
change the colors to look like what they used to with my Redhat built RPM
(2.8.0). All the colors look fine now, except for the links. On my old
lynx, all links are blue. But I specified "COLOR:1:blue:black", and the
links showed up as bright blue. It seems that any color I put in there is
"brightened," except for "bright" colors. Does anybody know what is going
on? I am comparing my old lynx with my new lynx side by side with
identical lynx.cfg's (for the COLOR section), and the links colors just
don't match.
