lynx-dev Help!

I have been trying to install Lynx on my computer for two years

now. I cannot seem to get the floppy I make up to recognize my

CD rom Drive. I have a Sony CD rom. Is there a generic drive

I can call up. I get the prompt to display but I can not get

anything to call up. I have several CD rom selections, but none

seem to work! I follow the instructions verbatim. I just cannot

get my CD rom to acknowledge the software on my floppy! Any suggestions.
