But I want to expand this a bit.
This wouldn't necessarily help with reading items from lynx.cfg.
For each configurable item, they'd be in the table. The table would
control whether the item can be configured at run time or not, and whether
it's controlled by the state of other items, and whether the item can be
saved or not.
