i couldn't reproduce the bug at Washington Post (random story),
but moving then back to FT did reproduce it at the same place.
however, returning to Lynx after the Signal 10 exit
& trying the stories before/after the problem document,
i couldn't reproduce it, BUT then exiting Lynx with Q (upper case),
i got a Signal 11 abend!
